PACRA Registration

In order for CLH to legally conduct business in Zambia, the most important first step is to officially register with the government. In order to open a bank account, purchase property and conduct business, that means registering with PACRA. In Zambia non-profit organisations are registered as companies limited by guarantee, which do not have share capital and must not carry on business for the purpose of making profits for its members or for anyone concerned in its promotion or management.

To register a non-profit, we also have to designate the nature of our business activities. In our case that is:

Additional activities:

• Human health and social work activities: Other social work activities without accommodation

• Arts, entertainment and recreation: Creative, arts and entertainment activities
